Sanagi Yuzu, usually just Yuzu, is an American independent VTuber who debuted on June 12, 2021. Her character is a silk moth spirit, and her streams are known for being calm and commanding at the same time, with a sense of humour that’s a lot more vulgar than her soft design suggests.

Has Yuzu done a face reveal?
Not as Yuzu. Her story is the reverse of most face-reveal questions: she began as an IRL creator whose clips went viral on TikTok, and she moved to VTubing to get away from the pressure of keeping up a certain look. As she put it to Dexerto in 2023, with VTubing “I just have an avatar who is always pretty” while the personality stays fully her own.
Clips titled “Yuzu accidental face reveal” usually show a moment on stream or at an event, cut and re-titled by clip channels. Because Yuzu deliberately chose to leave on-camera content behind, we don’t dig up or share her past accounts or any unverified photos.
Yuzu’s lore
In her original lore, Yuzu is a silk moth spirit who escaped from being farmed for her silk after being locked away for hundreds of years, kept alive by a small moth spirit friend named Koga who brought her yuzu fruit every night. The story takes inspiration from the tragic storytelling in FromSoftware games. Her updated lore recasts her as an independent spirit who protects her lands and stands up for her friends.
